Insightful and Inspiring Books

At the top of this list of books is “Reflections on the Self” by J. Krishnamurti. This book compiles a collection of Krishnamurti’s speeches and conversations.

Thus far, it is my most cherished book. It has contributed to a transformational stage, rendering my consciousness free of addiction to the psychological self.

The books toward the top of the list include nonfiction reading the world could benefit from—especially more logically and secularly minded individuals.

As the list goes on, it dives into realms that are more along the lines of spirituality and mysticism—eventually leading into fictional books that are entertaining at times and profound at others.

Click on any of the covers below and you’ll be taken to them on my GoodReads bookshelf.

Nearly all of these are available as audiobooks.

Pro tip for avid word listeners: If you ever come across an online article you want to listen to, try the Pocket app. If you come across a Kindle book that isn’t on Audible, use the Alexa app to listen to it.
